How narrow-minded of the Verona school district not to let Noah walk with his classmates!

Others have walked and been short credit before in this district. Just last year. Why wasn't the rule applied then?

The school needs to celebrate this kid, and all he has accomplished. If we do not, the wrong people will. -I'm a teacher in Chicago

Don't punish this young man for his health issues. He deserves to walk with his classmates!

It's a no brainier, let him walk but give him an empty diploma jacket until the credit is finished. He has a 504 or in other words a valid reason.

Let him walk, he deserves it. A half a credit to make up is nothing. This should he considered an exemption through hardship.

I was allowed to walk 1.5 credits short at Memorial. Let that boy walk, .5 of a credit and he will miss one of the important events in his life!

I have the same disease you do- your 504 is legally binding. Don't give up hope!

Let him feel normal for one day. The Lord knows the struggles he goes through everyday.

My five year old nephew has this. He gets a transfusion every week. Not only is his life hard, but so is our entire family's. Every decision revolves around him and his health. Not letting this boy walk because of half a credit is ridiculous. His entire family has sacrificed time, money, vacations to see their boy graduate. The struggle is real! Let Noah Walk!
