I have the same disease as Noah, and it is not easy. Please let him walk the stage!

Let this boy walk alongside his peers during their graduation ceremony. Why punish a student that clearly deserves to have that moment with his classmates? He's ill, not lazy or a delinquent. Let him experience the ceremony and then finish his 1/2 credit requirement afterwards. This is unnecessary and unfair punishment. Whatever message this school is trying to send, you are clearly failing. All you are showing is that you are insensitive to sickness and are willing to punish a student for being ill. It shows you as petty. LET NOAH WALK!

He has an illness that the school fully knew about. He's been doing the work required of him. If he'd been skipping school that would be totally different, but he wasn't.

My sister was able to walk with her class even though she had to finish a credit which was done over the summer and this was 22yrs ago.... Noah's is due to a serious medical issue and her's was due to slacking off. It would only seem fair to let him walk.

Accommodations should have been made, as is his right under IDEA, to have him on time for graduation. This falls on the school, and he needs to be allowed to graduate with his class!

He has every right to graduate with his class. Give the young man what he deserves! Show some respect please!

Stay strong! We can't let chronic illnesses stand in our way. Schools need to work with students with chronic illnesses. I have quite a few my self. My mom has hypogammaglobulinemia so I understand part of what u go through.

Noah should definitely be allowed to walk across the stage with the rest of his class. It's not uncommon for students to walk, receive an empty diploma cover, finish their last credit requirements, and then receive their official diploma. He's come this far; 1/2 a credit will be nothing for this young man. What an inspiration and excellent example Noah is for others!
