We that taxpayers and parents elect leaders who appoint highly paid administrators to use good judgement. If you start quoting District Policy and Rules, we only need enforcement staff. We expect and demand sound judgement. Let Noah Walk!

Let him walk. Give him his diploma after her completes the class. Educators need to really open their eyes on this one!

Shame on the school for punishing someone who has a medical reason for being behind in a class. It's not like he just didn't get feel like going and skipped all the time. Sounds like he's been trying hard and deserves to walk

Shame on Verona School for even considering allowing this young man to miss his graduation ceremony. I was permitted to walk the stage and received an empty diploma case in 1994. I was shy 1/4 credit gym credit. I had moved from another state and this credit was missed. This is not even close to the circumstances this young man has endured in his life. I received the diploma via mail after my gym credits were received in summer school. Verona should be ashamed of the way they have treated this young man! LET NOAH WALK!

This is crazy. This young man has obviously worked very hard if he has missed this much school and at this point he only needs a little more time in math to get caught up. This seems like an unjust punishment for the situation. Rules can and should be changed to fit special circumstances. Don't take this special moment away from him and his family.

I have a 6th grade son who was diagnosed this year with leukemia he missed half the school year his school has been great with helping him along the way and even tho he has some work to still complete he was allowed to hear his name via skype at 6th grade graduation and have a family member get his certificate for him mental healing goes along way with encouraging our kids to continue to push through their illnesses and not give up. Shame on his school for.not encouraging and standing by this young man. God bless you Noah stay strong. #LetNoahWalk

As human beings we are gifted the ability to have compassion - use that gift. Not allowing this young man to share in this experience with his peers is cruel. Hasn't he been through enough?

What if this was your child? Let the boy walk - why try so hard to teach him there is no compassion or understanding in this world. He should be commended for graduating even if work is two weeks late. Will that really matter a year from now ?

He should be allowed to walk the ceremony with his peers. Do Summer school to finish up. He should not have been put through this embarrassment. He is a kid with health issues. What are school officials thinking? They should be ensuring him a great experience, not tearing him down.
Let Noah Walk!
