Noah is a great kid... He should be eligible to play. This is complete nonsense.

Noah Kaplan should be able to play hockey through the season. He is a great hockey player and should not be denied the opportunity to play a sport he is good at and has a passion for. If he had been approved before why not. Gibe him the opportunity or the team is losing a good player. Plus, his mother who is a great mother, wants what is best for him.

NYSAHA Annual Guide states that a prep school student is permitted to have played a maximum of 4 games and still play for the high school club team. Page 48 (2019-2020) in the NYSAHA Annual Guide. Noah played in 3 games last season. He is eligible to play.

Totally heavy handed and unnecessary ruling by the ‘board’ . The child missed a year from injury. Why would you try and impede his growth and confidence. Boo to the board. Let the boy play!

What a shame to put an 18 year old great kid through such horrible shenanigans. Be kind especially to young adults trying to find their way. FOLLOW YOUR OWN RULES NEW YORK ISLANDERS HIGH SCHOOL HOCKEY LEAGUE! Sounds like you are threatened by Noah's talented hockey skills. It has been proven he has only played 3 seasons...therefore this year would be his 4th and final season, You approved him playing, had his parents pay the fees and he already played 3 games.
I heard about this case and was disgusted hockey parents are doing this to other parents children. This world seems unfair at times and this league is one of the reasons we need more kindness in the world not hatred. The rumors about Noah the board has heard and presented in his case are filled with lies, misconceptions and simply just rumors! There is no truth to them but the board does not want to hear the truth. They would prefer to believe malicious rumors while deciding a case instead of the truth. Apparently, the league thinks it's fair to find someone guilty without a fair trial that represents both sides of the case. The decision was decided without anyone available to advocate for Noah. Truly pathetic!! LET NOAH PLAY Cold Spring High School HOCKEY!!!
let him play mel goldstein
