This petition is created to show that many people, including students and adults, want Ms. Kemmerer to stay at Westlake Academy. Ms. Kemmerer has been at Westlake Academy for a while now. I know that I and many other students believe Ms. Kemmerer has been one of the best teachers we have ever had. She really wants her students to do well in her class, and always accepts an offer to help a student out. She truly embodies the IB profile as being caring, a risk-taker, open-minded, and much more. It would be a huge loss if Ms. Kemmerer had to leave Westlake. Even though she may not be teaching many of us students anymore, we know how helpful she was to us and we want all other students to experience the outstanding person and teacher that Ms. Kemmerer is. We hope the administration will take this petition into consideration and let Ms. Kemmerer stay and teach!
