Mr. Fish was my favorite english teacher in high school. He always had something positive to tell the class everyday before class. He was always there for me to talk to when things were hard for me at home. He has the biggest heart and he doesn't deserve to be suspended for a poem containing the f word. Its not elementary its HIGH SCHOOL. What high school student doesnt use the f word these days? #FightingforFish!!

I believe it is very wrong for a wonderful teacher to have their career and their livelihood ruined by one complaint. One person "offended" over one word!! It is ridiculous!! Get over it and give Mr. Fish his job back!!!!

Mr. Fish was an amazing teacher and he loved his students tremendously. If one continues down this path Easley High will not just lose a great teacher, but an individual who cares about the futures of every one of his students.

I have had two students that have had Greg Fish. Both of them have been enriched by his teaching. If he is not allowed back it will be a black mark against Easley High School and many future and current students will miss out on his excellent teaching skills.

I applaud Mr. Fish for being such an outstanding teacher and for doing his job with little pay but the huge reward of his students speaking out for him. That complaining parent needs to be named and to defend them self of why an AP literature class teacher is being reprimanded for things their child either says, is already engaged in, has heard, or seen in TV.

Mr. Fish is a great teacher and a great person. Getting rid of him would be throwing away a great teacher for what? For using bad language in a poem? A warning a most should be given. You have to think about the kids. The kids are going to suffer from this. Yes, he shouldn't have used bad language, but that isn't grounds for dismissal. Easley High School is making the wrong choice in this matter. When are we going to stop letting parents have all the control and say so? #FightForFish
