Mr. Fish is everything a teacher should be: kind, passionate, and loving. What EHS has done is horrible! You allow horrible teachers who don't understand their subject to remain there while forcing him to leave.

Mr. Fish inspired me in ways no other teacher has. I would not be nearly as confident with my writing skills had it not been for him. He deserves to be a teacher, no matter what!

I never had Mr. Fish as a teacher but I knew he was a great teacher from everyone that had him and even though I was never his student he knew me by name and always talked to me when I was there and even still outside of school.
I dont know what happened but for him to be let go is a huge loss for EHS.

Mr. Fish is one of the best teachers that Easley High school has. There are plenty of things that have the same content that his poem had that are already in the curriculum. Please let him teach! Get rid of those who don't teach, not the ones who do.

Mr. Fish was an awesome teacher and if he didn't do anything tobesrve for him to get fired then he needs to be still teaching.

I'm not sure on the story of this or why on earth it is happening but Fish is the best teacher I ever had! He taught me so much and helped me grasp a better understanding of literature. He changed my views on life and helped me decided which direction to take my college years and opened me to new books. Bring Fish back or the next graduating classes will be lacking so much.

I sadly never had the honor of being in one of Mr. Fish's classes. However, as a future English major, I find the scenario of a teacher being censored for his art to be very dangerous path. Fight against censorship, and fight for Mr.Fish.

Mr. Fish is my favorite teacher and I look forward to his class every day. He has pushed me and taught me new ways to view English in ways no other teacher has ever done for me. My class is suffering already and I'm sure all of his others are as well. He's a great person with a big heart and I think that one complaint is not enough to fire him so quickly! Easley would not be the same without him! Let him teach for the sake of his students!

I had the pleasure of having Mr. Fish not only as a teacher in my 10th grade English class but also as my cross country coach for two years. I can honestly say that in both of these things Mr. Fish displayed one thing: passion. He has a passion for teaching students not only the discipline of English but also how to be more open-minded and a more accepting person. Can he be a little unorthodox in the classroom? Sure. However, through this, he showed more passion and care for the subject material and the students then almost any other teacher I have ever had. Mr. Fish is the epitome of what one should want in a teacher. I think Easley High School would be making a risky decision here. They would be sacrificing not only losing one of their most loved teachers but also one of their most passionate and smartest teachers they have today. I truly hope that Easley High School will look more into this and make the right choice. Which in the end, would be to keep the great teacher and man that is Mr. Fish.

Mr. Fish was by far my favorite teacher I've ever had. I'm so thankful to have been taught by him. He loves his job and is passionate about it. These students are AP level juniors and seniors so maybe they shouldn't take his class. He teaches that you have no limits and taught me through music that we can always express our opinions without judgement. Let him stay.
