Censorship of books in the education system is the first step to having uninformed students unable to defend their own views against others.

Mr. Fish is a wonderful teacher, and another school is going to swoop him up and truly appreciate him. It's your loss Easley!

I never had one of his English classes but I had him as a basketball coach when I was younger. He always has had a big heart and genuinely cares about his students and there futures. He never gave up on anyone struggling. He'd fight right alongside them and push them through it.

I am privileged to call Fish a teacher, coach, and friend. Through his coaching and teaching he has made it clear to me that I can "stay the course" in all my goals. Fish taught me to consider all views and opinions, he taught me to questions ideas and affirm my own opinions. He preaches that our lives matter to him. Fish has been instrumental in my outlook of life as well as COUNTLESS others. He is an incredible asset to Easley High School--Let him teach!!

By far the best teacher of my 12 years in grade school. Not even close. Not having him is a disservice to Easley youth.

Easley High School class of 2003, I had Mr. Fish junior year and he was one of the best teachers I had that year. Always looked forward to his class, even if it was an 8am class, and the stories, poems, and essays he had us read. While the class was on the tech prep track he never treated us like dumb students, unlike some of the other teachers there, or dumbed down the material because of that. In fact he pushed us to be better students then what the school thought we could be.

I didn't ever have him as a teacher but I didn't need to to see how much of an impact that he left on people and how good of a teacher he was.

When will our teachers be valued and not just discarded? My daughter spike very highly of Mr. Fish. Obviously the kids love him. This is terrible way to treat our educators.

Mr. Fish is one of the coolest teachers I've ever met, he's funny and just plain awesome. It would be a tragedy if Easley lost a teacher like him. No one could replace him
