I only met Mr. Fish one time and I greatly appreciated the compassion he showed towards my son as well as my family! He made sure that not only did I receive a yearbook after my son christopher Johnson passed away,but also had made sure a beautiful memorial page was placed in that year book to honor him. I also appreciated that he took the time to speak to my daughter and give her encouragement through a very difficult time!

So very disappointed in the administration right now. I'm hoping that someone will open their eyes and realize that Mr. Fish deserves to get his job back...assuming he even wants to return. Our students deserve better.

I had two children taught by Mr. Fish and have met and talked to him. He is nothing but a positive influence on his pupils and the community. If there is a person in his class who he offended, then I am sure he would apologize, but to ask for a resignation over something so trivial is disheartening. Pickens County School District also had better consider the legal ramifications of their actions as well.

Once again talent is put aside in an effort to "secure feelings" at the expense of a family's sense of security. Thought our community was an exception to this nation's political correctness feeding frenzy. Disappointing irrational action towards one of the most remarkable mentor i've had. SMH

Mr. Fish is the best teacher I ever had. He challenged us, supported us, and made us want to learn. Get him back in the classroom!! Teens need his influence in their intellectual development. The man is an artist. He is genuine. And he cares about his students.

Mr. Fish was my English teacher during my eleventh grade year at Easley High School. He always encouraged me and instilled a confidence in me to not only write my literary interpretations, but to speak them out as well. In many ways, he helped to develop my speaking skills that later gave me the confidence that I needed to excel in my college career and relational communication skills. I will forever be indebted to his belief in me and the ways that he inspired me to go further in my education. Easley High School would lose an invaluable asset if he were not to return to teach and mentor our students.

Very inspiring teacher to all three of my children. Daughter is a 6th year high school English teacher and both sons actually were positively influenced and actually enjoyed literature during their high school years. Thanks Fish and fight on!

Mr. FISH was a great teacher. He is one of the only teachers that actually had a fun class that you could look forward to going to. He is a great teacher and person. Future students should have the opportunity to have a teacher like Mr. Fish.

Mr.Fish is an excellent teacher. He should be given his job back. He has helped SO many students prepare for their future and achieve success even after they have left EHS. One of the responsibilities of an English teacher is to demonstrate to his students the power of language. Unfortunately, district leaders demonstrated that power in a negative and small-minded way. Listen to all these stories from former and current students!
