Mr. Fish is one of the best teachers I have ever seen in action. Many teachers employ a "one size fits all" method, but Mr. Fish works hard to fit the needs of his students. He was an amazing coach and pushed me to meet goals I would have never believed that I could. He made an important impact in my life to put me on the path I am on now. Firing him after all the he has done for Easley High School, it's student's, and this community is a terrible injustice.

If the story that I have read is actually true, to fire a man because 1 person was upset wit what he said is unacceptable. Mr. Fish has always been a passionate and energetic teacher that loves his work.

So schools on the West coast can pass out condoms to middle schoolers to basically condone premarital sex, but a teacher can't write a profane word down (because there's no way those words would appear in any novel or movie - right?).

Pickens County have completely lost all touch with reality. They have no regard for the teachers or the students. Sad to say the least.

Truly great teachers inspire students to expand their thinking, have a voice in life and go forward to make a difference in the world. Mr. Fish is one of these teachers. His absence at EHS leaves a gap in the educational journey of Easley's children. This is not good for anybody.
