I do not understand why this is happening my brothers friends had Mr. Fish and said he was amazing and I was looking forward to having him as a teacher so I hope he stays and that everyone signs so that Mr. Fish can stay.

Seriously, Easley High School, you should re-think this. You are doing a great disservice to the students and the school.

Both of my children were privileged to have been taught by Mr. Fish and loved his class. One of the few teachers at EHS who actually challenged their minds and made an impact on their educational experience. Teachers like him are few and far between. EHS and PCSD made a terrible mistake and did a great disservice to their students by letting him go, particularly those students who are three months away from sitting for the AP exam! As a parent, I would be pissed at such a disruption! Get the school board members on the phone, parents! Mr. Fish should be back at school on Monday, in my opinion!

I had Mr Fish when I was on school and he was one of the best teachers. I'm not sure what's going on but I know he's an awesome teacher and Easley won't be the same without him.

Had Mr. Fish as our student teacher in Mrs. Angel's honors English class my freshman year. He was always amazing and stood out from most of the other teachers at EHS, and is one of the few I still remember and talk about almost 13 years after graduation. I can't say I'm surprised at the school district's reaction because it IS Easley, but that doesn't make it right. Hopefully they take the time to reevaluate their decision because any institution would be lucky to have someone like Mr. Fish teaching their students.

My Fish has taught my children and several of my family members. He also coached my son in little league baseball. You won't find a more dedicated, caring person anywhere. He cares about his students and all people in general.

I can not believe that Easley High School and Pickens Cty would even consider letting him go. The lives he has impacted is immeasurable and he is by far the greatest English teacher!

I had him for AP English in ninth grade and he really cares for his students. His teaching still affects me today as a freshman in college. In fact, I just thought of one of his lessons a few days ago!

It is outrageous to even consider suspending this teacher. The kid who is responsible for that should be expelled of school, and meditate about the consequences of that "PC" inquisition.
