Mr. Fish was my 10th grade honors English teacher and 10th, 11th, and 12th grade yearbook teacher. He is one of the best teachers that I've ever had. His enthusiasm was infectious. He taught me to be critical of everything I read, from song lyrics to Great American Classics. Although his coursework could be challenging, Mr. Fish's classroom was the most comfortable place on campus for this awkward teenager. If he isn't allowed to continue inspiring the students of Easley High School, I hope he finds someplace where he can continue to be a lasting influence for young people.

Love the Fish! After a Furman and MUSC education, I'm still proud to say Mr Fish is the best and most impactful educator I've encountered!

He's the best teacher I've ever had. I used more of what i learned in his class than any other class I've taken.

Mr.Fish was the type of teacher that held the classes attention the entire time, which we all know is difficult, with high schoolers especially. He's very energetic and passionate about teaching and spreading his knowledge to everyone. If you don't let this guy back soon, he won't be out of a job too long, hang in there FISH!!!!

Good teachers are hard to find. Sad to get rid of one because of one student!

There aren't enough good teachers, much less great ones to help teach our kids nowadays. Focus real issues within the school district..... Hungry, abused, and neglected kids. Does the child that reported him not have a tv or Internet accessible device where swear words are the least of the dangers accessible to him/her?!?! Let's get real people.

My Son had Mr Fish and always enjoyed his classes. I admired the way he kept his 'kids' learning constantly and made sure everyone did their very best. I think it's absurd for this man to lose his job over this.

My all time favorite teacher wasn't my favorite because he was cool. He was my favorite because he was a good teacher and challenged me to do better. Of course he should teach.

Obviously, the student who was offended by a college professor in a college level Literature class taught off campus in a public domain is not ready for the real world. I hope the student that was offended by others words fails miserably in their college or technical college level literature course. Also, I hope that professor, curses their ass out for being a weak student. MR. Fish was an awesome professor, he was personable and had a way to make even the worst students like him.
