14 years since I left Easley High and Mr. Fish is the most memorable teacher to me. His compassion for his students is remarkable to say the least. He Always had the students best interests at heart. To learn of the nature of these circumstances goes to show how weakened our culture has become for the sake of "political correctness ". Grow some balls Easley High school. Everyone has a right to be offended but not defended? To cast out one of your greats for something so petty? Flat out ridiculous!

By far one of the greatest teacher and men I've met thus far in my life. I remember when he was a student teacher, and my little sister has had him too. He really deserves to teach. If we had more teachers like him in replace of some of the bad apples that teach, I think kids would have a better chance at a brighter future

I never had fish as a teacher, but he seems like a legend if hes getting all these kids to ban together against the bs we put up at school

This has come too far already. Mr Fish was was of the best teachers I ever had- he knew to push me more than anyone else was willing to and saw something in each of his students few teachers took the time to see. He's an insightful and understanding person and would never purposely insult anyone. The fact that this apparently took place off campus just drives home the fact that this whole mess is unjust and cruel. The man belongs in a classroom and was clearly put on this earth to teach! Don't let a few closed-minded people stop him from that!

Mr. Fish is one of the few teachers at Easley high school that actually prepared me for college coursework. He challenged his students and inspired them to reach their full potential. He could make anyone appreciate good literature, because his enthusiasm was contagious. To this day, he is one of the best teachers I have ever had.

I graduated in 2003, and Mr. Fish was a hard teacher who pushes you to do your best! I have a few teachers I remember; he is definitely one of the few. He has impacted so many students for not just doing his job. He loved his job which is hard to find teachers like that now days. I hope he comes back.

There Are HARDLY ANY GOOD TEACHERS THAT CARE ABOUT OUR KIDS EDUCATION ANYMORE&PUSH THEM &CHALLENGE THEM TO LEARN AND WANT TO LEARN&MAKE A GOOD GRADES!!! THAT'S WHY MOST KIDS ONLY DO AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE TO GET BY&PASS THE CLASS TO MOVE FOWARD TO THE NEXT SCHOOL YEAR SO KEEP THE GOOD ONE'S & WEED OUT THE LAZY BAD ONES&YOU WILL HAVE A HIGHER PERCENTAGE OF STUDENTS GRADUATING THAN DROPPING OUT BC THERE WASN'T ANYBODY THERE TO PUSH OR CARE IF THEY STAYED OR NEVER SHOWED BACK UP THE NEXT DAY!

By far the best English teacher I have ever had. The way he taught me to write and express myself have carried me through my BS and are now helping me toward my PhD. I cannot believe the actions or opinions of one student or one family have cost the best educator at Easley High School his job. If it is Mr. Fish's wish, I sincerely hope he is allowed to teach again at EHS. Without him, I fear that the students will not know one of the very most important things he taught me...censorship causes blindness!
