Mr. Fish impacted my life 9 years ago and his teachings still echo in the way I speak, write, and think on a daily basis. He is a light in a very dark world. Please, do not diminish his flame.

I support the teacher to have the right for literary freedom. One kid who probably curses everyday claiming offense is total idiocracy.

This is asinine. One person gets offended and the school board is ready to fire the man.

I remember dreading the day I had to take Mr. Fish's class. His course load was infamous and I knew there was no way I could keep up. Mr. Fish was, by far, the best and most influential teacher I've ever had. Without his class, I wouldn't have been prepared for college. There wasn't a single class at Easley, besides his, that prepared you for higher education.
I don't feel bad for him, though. He was way too good for Easley High School. They didn't deserve, and clearly didn't appreciate, the incredible teacher he was. Shame on you, Easley High School. You're the only one losing here.

I am the father of a 9th grade son and I am ashamed of being a part of such a childish close minded community. Censorship is a tool for Marxist and fascist governments.

I never had mr. Fish but my friend did and he was a wonderful teacher and mentor. I hope the community steps up and plays their role and takes action we are all adults lets act like it. High school students drop the f bomb daily. So does my colleague professor and he isn't suspended. He needs he dang job back.!
