I assume this decision is not really being based on the opinions of random online commenters who have never been to Tesco Tiverton and are never likely to. I go there all the time and I love Mango!

Today I found about this marvelous story, and then reading more about it I also found that is over. I can't believe it! I was just glorifying the store and the community about this great thing. THIS IS WHAT I JUST WROTE BEFORE FINDING THE LATEST NEWS: It's incredible the culture and way of thinking of the Anglo-Saxon countries, or other developed societies. I have lost costumers in my stores, because they spot any of the feral/stray cats that I feed and that they ocasionally get inside the stores or sleep/hang out nearby. Even tho they are all clean and some even vaccinated. I spend about $200 USD monthly with cats that aren't even my own. But the locals think of them as if they were plagues or dirty beings. In 2 of my stores where I sell snacks/food/drinks/etc and the other purified water, never, NEVER the cats put at risk the health, hygiene and cleaning of the goods or the stablishment itself, I have even tried to make campaigns or help the locals societies of animals to make my customers realize the importance and value of having a cats in the neighborhood, but no one seems to even think about it. I can only fantasy to be in a real cat café, it must be marvelous, everyone benefits from each other. I can't imagine such place here in Mexico, specially in my state.

Shame on you. Humans bring more "health and safety " issues than one little store cat. Do not take this cat from his home.

What were you thinking? Let Mango back inside where he belongs. I hope the RSPCA gets on your case.

Two years ago I was in St. Petersburg, Russia and visited the famed Hermatige Museum. It has had at least a dozen cats that live in the museum since the end of World War II. No mouse problem there. I doubt if the Tesco store has had a vermin problem since Mango took up residence.

Most of the complaints about Mango see to come via the internet. These are people who have probably never set foot inside a Tesco and probably don't even know what one looks like. Tesco should pay attention to their regular customers who have loved the kitty for 4years. Shame on Tesco and big corporate politics.

Come on guys, putting the little guy out in the rain is just cruel! The least you should have done was find Mango a home before kicking him out.

What the hell people? You had to leave him out in the rain and cold? You couldn't have, I don't know, found a home for him?! Jerks!
