A blatant attempt to violate Lucia's First Amendment Rights which is already backfiring in the faces of an administration that seeks to stamp out free speech.

I think it's a wonderful idea..... Chris had a major impact on his students' lives..... and they want to thank him for all of his love and support.

I think it's a great idea. So many other schools would want to remember a great person that changed so many lives. Let Lucia speak at the graduation. If you don't then that goes to show that the school has something against the way he passed away.

I believe it would be foolish not to let her mention Mr. Tully. Why would you not let her speak about him? He was a great teacher, friend and human being worth remembering. I would hope that they are not shying away from it because of their own insecurity or something petty like that.

For a school that supported voicing memorials and remembrance of the late Mr. Tully, I am actually shocked that all of a sudden they are against it.

LUCIA HAS A RIGHT TO SPEAK WHAT SHE WANTS. LET HER DO IT. IF CHRIS INSPIRED HER AS A TEACHER, WHY NOT LET HER TALK ABOUT HOW HE INFLUENCED HER TO BE THE WAY SHE IS TODAY.

I think it's a great idea. He was such a sweet teacher and he will be forever missed by our community. he inspired every single student that had him or was around him.

As a former student of Christopher Tully during 2005-2007 I can truthfully say that not letting a student speak about a deceased teacher is outlandish. To not let a student speak of such an influential and effective and certainly sorely missed member of the MBIT staff is also disrespectful. MBIT needs to reconsider ASAP as this reflects VERY poorly upon those disallowing a student to speak about a deceased faculty member.

Let this girl mention Mr. Tully, people should be talking about him to keep his memory alive. So messed up & I'm ashamed that ADMINISTRATORS would not allow something like this.
