It's such a shame that MIBIT supported and offered their sympathies to anyone suffering through the loss of Chris Tully, yet when someone wants to talk about him, in a positive light, they refuse to allow that to happen. Don't shut your students up, let them speak, let them feel and let them heal.

Its bull she can not talk about Tulley in her speech he was such an amazing teacher he wanted to help everyone even students that weren't in his class like me

I graduated from mbit back in '03 also had the pleasure of working with Chris a few years later at tech. I've seen first hand the positive impact he's had on not only students but fellow co-workers, and adults alike. I feel the speaker should be allowed to reflect and speak her mind tactfully of course, not mourn or dwell on his death or manner of passing but rejoice in the energy that was Chris, and his positive, helpful nature. Countless people have been affected by his giving..out of respect, the administration should be happy they had such a teacher.

i spoke at my MBIT graduation, and its such an honor to have and to pull that away from this girl all cause she wanted to celebrate an amazing man is horrible! isn't that what graduation is about... CELEBRATING! that is so ridiculous. LET LUCIA SPEAK!

The fact that the administration is condemning the mere mention of him is absolutely disgusting to me. People must know the impact he had on us as students and how he was a gateway towards our future success.
