Let federal law enforcement officers keep their weapons

It's common sense.

Make verbal to include... "all sworn law enforcement officers" which would include reserve officers

This should be a no brainier. This should have been chanced long ago.

They risked their lives, let them keep their tools.

Let them keep their weapons

Let them protect us and themselves.

All retired feds , state and local officers should be allowed to carry high capacity handguns for there safety and for safety of others. They are properly trained and experienced.

This is the right thing to do for several reasons listed.

LEO s certainly should have the right to keep the service weapon that the trained with and lived with for so many years. God Bless.

This should pertain to ALL LEO's.

Any weapons NOT purchased or retained by said officers should also be made available for sale to the general public through legal channels.

This won't cost tax payers a penny to implement and the public will benefit from having more trained/certified LEOs armed. Win win.

It only makes sense, these weapons should be upgraded in short order in the majority of cases anyway. Let them have them.

You bet, Agents and officers should have this option codified so that temporary political appointees don't constantly change policy to suit the latest social experiment. That said, today I carry way better a gun than the one they were issuing at the time! So don't limit it to that particular firearm.
