Any FLEO in good standing should be allowed to keep or purchase their service sidearm upon retirement if they so choose.

We absolutely should have the right to retain our weapon after our many dedicated years of service.

The right thing to do especially for those men and women that go in harms way to keep this country safe. To destroy something that is cherished by many fine officers and has been a tangible part of their career is a shame and costly.

I have changed the recommendation to include all sworn law enforcement. Thank you. Please help me get this to all LEO's in the US.

Current Federal LEO. This is an idea that is 40 years too late.

I have lots of friends and family in law enforcement. This should be a no-brainer and an essential part of their career all the way into retirement! God Bless our Men and Women in blue!

Leosa desperately needs revisions to correct the issues related to magazine restrictions as well as school zone prohibitions . You have highly trained individuals with vast levels of training that help to supplement the home guard. We should not have to worry about cation jurisdictions with nag limits and the national school zone restrictions. LESOA is great legislation, Now is the time to close those areas of concern i.e. Mag issues and gun free school law.
