I'd have kept my P2000 if I could have.

I’m allowed to carry it, but I cannot buy it back?

This is just good common sense and an excellent public policy.

I am a Police Officer in a small town and this makes complete sense to me. My agency allows us to keep our duty sidearm upon retirement, why not the Feds?

Lettting us keep our service firearm would be the smarter thing and that’s why it’ll never pass

I agree that this is an excellent, and intelligent idea. It will also help retired Agents continue to serve and protect their communities.

I support this change to the law as a federal law enforcement officer and a tax payer.

It is wasteful and foolish to let these perfectly serviceable weapons be destroyed. Please consider this petition.
