Let him walk. Nothing like that feeling after 13 or 14 years if schooling and now you finally finished.

Let the man walk! He and his family deserve it!

You only graduate highschool once. I'm sure it's a terrible feeling not to be able to live up to something you've been waiting for your whole life.

I have read the story,sounds a little harsh on the young man; To take away all of his years of school accomplishments over one incident,not to mention not being fair within the school system.Punish both young men EQUALLY! To take away his and his family's biggest achievement not being able "to walk" isn't having a fair chance.It just goes to show "that life isn't fair".I'm an outsider looking in reading the petition,give the young man the one and only opportunity that he will be given to walk across that high school stage.Be Equal !!!!!! Let this child achieve this mild stone he has worked. For we all make bad choices we have to learn from. Since he was not the aggressor in the incident he should be giving a second chance.

We as the people think it's only fair that exavier Simpson walk with his class of 2016 this guy has been like a brother to me it's my first year at tchs and he made me feel like I was back home he is a good young man and have plenty of abilities to do a lot of positive things please let him walk

Everyone deserves to be able to walk the stage!!! He'll graduate college one day BUT you only experience HS graduation once. I pray this guy is able to walk!!!

Mr. Simpson has served his time at DAEP. Why do we as have to discipline him more?

It may be a race issue. But any child that has worked hard to achieve this major milestone deserves to walk. As a parent of four I would be highly upset with this dissison.
