Let Caffreys rebuild. Not enough restaurants in the area and this place was a staple.

Caffrey's had been a part of my family's life for the past 15 years or more. We feel so bad for the owner and staff since they are some of the best people you could ever know. My parents pretty much ate there everyday and when my dad got sick with cancer, Caffrey's was one of the things he looked most forward to. It was not just because of the great food but the great staff that are more like family. I know many customers have their own Caffrey's stories but I'm sure all will say great food, great people, and a Lacy Twp landmark.

Let's keep current footprint! If room is needed in front, move Road east 30, 50, 100 feet. Plenty of room to move Rt9.

I travel from Virginia to forked river to visit my in-laws and we often visit this iconic restaurant for there great atmosphere and food. I feel it’s unfair that the township won’t grant the necessary permits to allow rebuilding. Given the circumstance of the fire, Caffreys should be grandfather for its permits.

This is my favorite restaurant! Caffrey's should not be burdened with having to move their entire building, incur further loss of revenue for the business and especially their employees. A variance to allow them to rebuild as it was should be granted! Stop the bureaucratic red tape and do what's best!

They should be able to rebuild in the same location and on the same footprint. It does seem that most of the structural walls are intact and that would allow them to rebuild under pre-existing conditions. But what should be taken into account above all else is that they are a terrific corporate citizen and partner to the town. Let’s not make it harder than it has to be to get them back in business.

Let them rebuild where they were. Let them complete and open within a year instead of 2 years+ and give the jobs back to the community sooner than later! Thank you!

Rebuild in the same location. Why move the building back except to make it more difficult to get back in business. Or is it all about getting more money in the Township via permit fees?

The town is being outrageous in it's request. LET CAFFREY'S REBUILD IN THE OLD FOOTPRINT
