Dear ASU Student Body,

They say that opportunity is here at Alabama State University, however, it is shameful when doors are opened for some and not all. Previous Miss ASU candidates have successfully been granted campaign eligibility on the basis of attending summer school for extra credits needed. Anastacia Davis has enrolled in summer school for the year 2016 and will be a graduating senior upon completion but was notified two days before campaign season started that they would not allow her to run. It is unfair to be selective in the decision of who is allowed to run one year and not the next. Please use your voice by signing this petition to oppose their decision in not permitting Anastacia Davis to run for Miss ASU.
