I find it shameful for NZ authorities proving that a country that itself was founded on "Immigration" to come across as so Xenophobic about non-Europeans who are simply intending to visit it with legitimate invitations!

This is unacceptable. Looked at as an individual case, I see no problems at all with granting a visa and exposing NZ to a great creative mind.

I was just listening to information about this on national radio and was really excited to see the film and was hopping the director was coming.

I think you should let her in! The film sounds very interesting & it's a bit embarrassing for us as a nation to deny her entry for no valid reason
