I am extremley embarrased, as a New Zealander, that my country, once again, has been found wanting in terms of human kindness and human rights.

I find it shameful for NZ authorities proving that a country that itself was founded on "Immigration" to come across as so Xenophobic about non-Europeans who are simply intending to visit it with legitimate invitations!

This is unacceptable. Looked at as an individual case, I see no problems at all with granting a visa and exposing NZ to a great creative mind.

This ban makes me ashamed to be a New Zealander. Please overturn this ridiculous decision immediately.

This spineless decision bears the stench of some mindless bureaucrats conspiring to avoid causing offense amongst a group of people for whom outrage is triggered by lighthearted satirical cartoons.

I was just listening to information about this on national radio and was really excited to see the film and was hopping the director was coming.

I think you should let her in! The film sounds very interesting & it's a bit embarrassing for us as a nation to deny her entry for no valid reason
