The problems at lentons lane need to be resolved as soon as possible. Burials are expensive - yet the relatives are subjeted to terrible conditions when they visit departed loved ones.

I think it's a disgrace. It's hard enough to visit loved ones when they've died without having to face the horror some people have had to face. It's time the council face up to their responsibilities and sort this out.

I am appealing to Coventry City Council to do whatever is necessary to stop the flooding of Lentons Lane Cemetery. I have loved ones laid to rest there and when one sees the state of the place its very disrespectful. Please do whatever it takes to stop the flooding.

The flooding at Lenton's Cemetary should be fixed right away. It is obvious to me that the CCC (or whoever was responsible for selecting this location for a cemetary) did not do a thorough research. If they knew - and they must have known- that this area had a flooding problem, why didn't they drain the area even before the first grave was dug? It is absolutely disgusting for you to proceed without preparing this area a legitimate burial ground. The water, the flooding, the mud, the irresponsibility of those in charge are gravely disturbing. How can you - members of the CCC - sleep at nights knowing that beloved family members are being laid in water, and that is exactly what I saw when I attended a funeral no too long ago. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Please fix it, or vacate your position as members of the CCC and allow professionals to do the job. If my wife falls one more time at the cemetary and hurt herself, I will be taking legal action.

Lentons lane is a total disgrace. I recently laid my mum to rest in peace, so I thought. The flooding is a major problem and the sleepless nights are driving me crazy. We paid for this which is disgusting and where is that money going cos it's not for the upkeep of the cemetery. Even the paths are a disgrace. I don't know how CCC sleep at night. Come on have a heart because my mother had a heart of gold. God rest her soul.
