Words cannot express how disappointed I am over the flooding situation at Lenton's Lane Cemetary. It is unbelievable that the CCC allowed this to go on for so long. I am dubious if any of CCC members have any relatives buried at this cemetary. This should be fixed right away. It is shameful.

Absolutely disgusting , Coventry council should be ashamed of there selfs ! We pay for the plots and some of our taxes should go on matainence of burial sites

Absolutely disgusting. Grave plots are not cheap to buy. How disrespctful of the council allowing the graves to look like mud messes!!

Both my parents are buried at Lentons lane, I also have my resting place next to them, fortunately our area is higher than those that flood. Seeing graves under water is distressing for family and friends.

Poor maintenance seems to be a massive problem at this place!
My daughters grave was ruined by the council maintaining the grass which was reported.
Now I see the grave is sinking due to the floods. It's unacceptable!

It has been a flooding area for a few years , and still no action. Loved ones bury their members there and have more hardship and suffering through the winter . I visit a very special Young Man and his grave suffered with flooding xxx

Yes there has been a lot of rain but any attempts at an effective drainage system have failed badly. Graves have flooded during the burial ceremony, and now many grave sites are under. Some footpaths are flooded and I know of people who have slipped over in the mud.
