LEGO Universe is a highly popular massively multiplayer online game with significant educational potential. Through this cooperative experience, players learn teamwork, goal-orientation, creativity, and how to be a civil citizen of the digital world.
The LEGO Group recently announced that they will be shutting down LEGO Universe due to a lack of user adoption in the paid subscription version of the game, robbing players of this educational experience and many children of the investment of their own money into the game.
