As a Legends Ranch resident, I want to put my son in the best situation to succeed. The reason why we voted "yes" to approve the bond which was instrumental in the building of Grand Oaks was because our community thought it was a forgone conclusion we would get zoned into the high school. It makes all the sense in the world for us to go to a school that is 2 miles away versus one that is 10. Please reconsider the zoning decision. Please do not hesitate to contact me for clarification.

This is misleading the voters. I voted with the expectation that my child which is 5 years old would be going to the new High School when she grew up.

My grandchild and her well-being are at stake here. It makes no reasonable sense to assign our children to Oak Ridge when they live here in Legends Ranch.

It only makes sense ...Legends Ranch needs to be zoned to Grand Oaks High School. I have 5 children. My voice should be heard for zoning for atleast the next 18 years. Our kids shouldn't suffer because it's easier for the district to pull our entire community out and zone them all the way to the freeway when There's more communities that make sense to make & keep at oak ridge. Let's not break up the community. Keep our kids close to home.

Your zoning consideration shows great disregard for the well being and safety of our kids and blatant discrimination toward our neighborhood in favor of others. Rezoning neighborhood west of I-45 and closer to ORHS but in The Woodlands is not even being considered. Have Legends Ranch Children go to the CLOSER Grand Oaks High School.

I think it is our right for our Voice To be heard. It is only fair that we get zoned the proper way- by distance and by communal belonging. Legends Ranch needs to be zoned to the new high school.

In the interest of my daughter's social, emotional, and academic well being and thrive, I petition that Legends Ranch children be zoned to the Grand Oaks High School.

As a taxpayer & homeowner in legends ranch I want my child to attend the new high school. I voted yes for this bond after being told our neighborhood would attend the new school.

I am worried about the safety of my own children and how they will be impacted by this possible decision for Legends Ranch to go to ORHS. It's a good school, yes, but it's so far away. The dangers and the potential harmful effects to our children far outweigh how great ORHS is. The dangers of Rayford Road, splitting them up from their elementary, middle school, and junior high friends is too much to expect from such a fragile time in their lives brought on by puberty alone. This is beyond what they need to go through. Their health and well being is much more important.

I really don't to see my youngest daughter hate her high school years like my older daughters did. They were split from the kids they grew up with when we moved here. Taking Legends Ranch children away from their friends they have grown up will do nothing positive for these kids while they are on high school. Please send our children to Grand Oaks.

Our kids should be zoned to Grand Oaks. This is the reason we voted for the bond.

Please reconsider our zoning. We should be zoned to the new school, not oak ridge.

My heart hurts to think my daughter will have to say goodbye to her friends she has made throughout her growing up and have to start all over with friends for high school. I didn't think this could ever happen especially after the bond vote.

I think it would be wrong to up root the kids from all of the friends they have made over the years. Grand Oaks is way closer to our subdivision than Osk Ridge is. Please send LR kids to the new high school.

Please let our children go to a closer school instead of bussing them much further away! That would be a waste of money, resources, and time.
