It does not make sense (logically nor fiscally) that a Legends Ranch bus heading north may pass a Woodlands bus heading south to arrive at their respective High Schools. The Grand Oaks High School should pull from the southern edge of the ISD until full - THEN Oak Ridge can be redistricted to relieve capacity at adjacent High Schools within the ISD.

I ask that CISD please carefully consider the consequences of not allowing the Legends Ranch communities attend the new Grand Oaks high school. It is unfair to segregate a certain population of students (children) with out better reasoning. We will be at the Nov 28 meeting and will be eager to discuss.

Legends Ranch children should attend Grand Oaks High School when it is completed. Legends Ranch residents voted for the bond because we were told that we would be getting a new high school for our children. The new campus will be just around the corner from us, yet Oak Ridge is a long drive for a student.

We voted for the bond with the understanding the Junior Highs would not be split between the high schools. You are trying to make Legends Ranch the sacrificial lamb.

We agreed to the bond because we thought our kids would go to the new high school. Our kids need to stay with their community and go to school where they live.

our kids live closer to Grand Oaks.
It is not right to bus them all the way to Orhs. We are counting on you to make the right choice for our kids. We also pay close attention to election time.

This is ridiculous we pay taxes to build a new high school and my children would not be allowed to attend that school!!! All for their football team that sucks

As an educator and a coach at the Highschool level, I find it extremely troubling that the powers that be would neglect the importance of "doing what is best for kids". After all, that is in fact what is most important in the grand scheme of things. The kids who reside in Legends Ranch live literally 5-8 minutes away in comparison to the 15-25 minutes it takes to get to Oak Ridge HS. On another note; if you want issues regarding athletics and eligibility, at the current state, Conroe ISD is asking for issues. Do the right thing.
