Legends Ranch should be zoned to the new high school. Even though my kids will go to the new school I still think Legends Ranch schools be zoned to Grand Oaks. My daughter will loose half of her friends that she has known since Elementary. This is not fair to the kids.

My son starts high school next year and attends York this year. I am so concerned with the new high school being built that he will be separated from his friends! High school is hard enough and then to lose the friends he has gone to school with since first grade! I am very worried and hope the zoning is done right!

We live in Estates of Legends Ranch. We voted for the expenditure to build the new high school based on CISD's word that our community would be zoned to it. It makes no sense for us to have to go Oak Ridge with Grand Oaks just down the street.

One of the main reasons that we purchased in Legends Ranch is because of the promise of a new high school for our children. Please keep our kids a top priority and make the logical decision. Allow students to attend a high school that is 5 minutes away vs. one that is 15-20 minutes away. Keep your promise and give us the zoning to the high school that we voted on. Legends Ranch kids should be zoned to Grand Oaks High!

It really doesn't make sense that the kids in Legends Ranch will have to commute 25 minutes to a high school when there is a new school opening right down the road. CISD duped the community by selling us on their bond for the new high school. Please make the right and honest decision.

Keep Legands Ranch Kids in Grand Oaks High School. They campaigned for our votes based on a new school for our children. We should not drive double the distance when we live closer than places like The Falls at Imperial Oaks who are closer to Oak Ridge. We have been here longer and have been promised this school for over 10 years. Our children have a right to go to the school through a bond that we the people voted for and were promised by the district. This is not right, these families deserve better than the hassle of the long drives and horrible traffic when we have a school right here near our homes!!

This is bologna! I thought it was bad for us when are poor daughter couldn't go to same schools as their cousins that live a hundred yards away. If its a tax issue we will pay it. This is just another situation in which Developers pick and choose what is best for the community's affluent. Although this is horrible and unfortunate, I am glad to see a comfort zone broken. Maybe now people will open their eyes to the injustice of the entire community. The people that live across the street from you are your children's educators, child care givers, children's bus drivers....etc and it was "OKAY" for them to go through all of the issues this petition is mentioning. I would like to see justice for Legends Ranch and maybe moving forward more compassion for the neighborhood in general. I am signing this petition because I care for all people of our community.
