TNR works and is an effective and humane solution. Legal support is needed in Prince William County. Because of TNR, I have seen very large colonies reduced to just a few cats and no kittens have been born at those colonies for years. Thank you.

I have been caring for community cats for 15 years in Lorton VA and I am aware of the benefits of TNR to control the population of homeless cats. I fully support this initiative.

I’ve been doing TNR for 8 years and I know it works, I have many colonies that have no new litters because of this. The managers at multiple complexes work with me to allow me to feed and trap on their properties. It’s an effective way to control feral cat populations and keep these cats healthy as they also get their rabies and distemper shots when they are trapped and spayed/neutered.

TNR works! Please support the program. I have been helping maintain a colony for the last year. We domesticated all the kittens and found loving homes. The colony is contained and we monitor them frequently.
