suppressors mean less annoyance to neighbors, less hearing loss to our population, less health care costs. It does not mean more crime, more death. use your brain on this issue, not what the media tells you.

I would just like to reduce the sound for the sake of my poor ears. Never understood why making a firearm quieter is illegal. .22lr barely makes a sound.

This is a health and safety issue. There is no cure for deafness caused by loud noises. Ear defenders are not enough. Mufflers on motorcycles and large equipment, then why not on sporting firearms?

Suppressors are the only safety device that is illegal! It would be like driving a car without a muffler. It doesn't make it silent it just reducing the amplitude of the noise.
