I personally think that the prohibition on a plant that has killed 0 but have been proven to help people with all kinds of different ailments. If they would just legalize it & tax it they would be able to do more for the communities. Plus they could focus law enforcement on worse things then a little plant. Such as harder drugs, murderers, rapists & the list goes on. All of this over a plant that has proven to have positive effects

I have sevier scoliosis and I do not take prescription pain killers nor Advil I also dont drink I medicate with marijuana because my doctor says he would rather me "smoke pot" than take something that will turn me into an addict and have withdraws . I live in Knoxville tn!

It is important to remember that if we legalize marijuana it will slow down illegal drug use, give more money for the state to use on education in our state. Plus stop needless time in court and lower prison numbers. Also it will help those that need it medically. Especially for those who can not afford those expensive cancer drugs and those who suffer from seizures may find relief. Just legalize it it just makes good sense. Those who use will help out the state of Tennessee in taxes. And those who do not use it will not use it but can reap the benefits in taxes and more income for the state. It can be benificial in the improvement of this state and stop all this illegal activity that keeps this state down with crime.
