This is just another ridiculous waste of time by our city officals. food truck provide a great service, and more importantly an amazing product. Let them do what they do, not hurting anyone and they are keeping it local instead of just offering up another big box meal.

I worked on a food cart, and the industry definitely has a target audience that is different from ordinary food service. It is nearly impossible to get food in town of quality better than fast food after 11 pm, and food carts have really improved the choices available.

As a bar employee, it's hard to find a decent meal when I get off work. Food trucks often cater to the bar crowd, which means some of them are open when I get off work. There are few brick and mortar restaurants that will stay open that late. In addition to personally serving my needs, I believe that food trucks provide a nice diversity of food choices in this town, and I would be sad to see them put out of business.
