As a bar employee, it's hard to find a decent meal when I get off work. Food trucks often cater to the bar crowd, which means some of them are open when I get off work. There are few brick and mortar restaurants that will stay open that late. In addition to personally serving my needs, I believe that food trucks provide a nice diversity of food choices in this town, and I would be sad to see them put out of business.

Food trucks are perfect for people who need a quick lunch and don't want to sit down at a restaurant and pay a $20+ bill. Most trucks operate at a time when other restaurants are closed anyways. These ordinances are waste of time and effort. Why not focus on more important items, like whether there will be dead homeless people on our streets this winter?.

Street food brings variety of taste and hours that brick and mortar restaurants don't offer. In my opinion, "fast food" food trucks can't compete with full service restaurants. I want the option and convenience of food carts in Bloomington.
