Fundamental right. If you can in SLC, should be no question in Ogden.

I grew up with chickens and was disappointed that Ogden bans them. We chose Ogden because chickens and livestock are all around us, and had a small town feeling. We have decided to give this a trial stay after retirement from the service, only if it changes these pointless bans.

I adore my backyard chickens! Love the fresh eggs. Its been 2 yrs but my ladies area is kept clean, tidy and pest free. Healthy chickens, give healthy eggs! Everyone should be able to have them!

I don't see any problem with having a few chickens as long as they are provided with a shaded area during the day and a warm enclosure in the winter.

as long as the chicken are well kept in a decent space with food and water they should be legal to have

Allow us our chickens. And a goat or two. I live just north of 2nd St. with a huge back yard. It's rediculous we are not able to have them.
