Every breed has the potential to be dangerous, but we as humans are the ones to blame when it comes to dogs being dangerous. A caucasion shepherd is 200lbs plus and is bred to be aggressive yet they are still legal to be bought bred and sold in the UK and other various countries. The government need to prosecute bad owners and bring out a licence for any dog owner. Assessments need done and the dogs need saved not destroyed because of some stupid law that come along 25 year ago without any proper research.

"After BSL was enacted in the UK, the number of annual dog bites remained the same". The breed shouldn't be punished it's the people, yet some of the are being punished but so are the Pitbulls. Pitbulls that are being neglected or used for fighting should at least be put in rehabilitation and then adopted out. It's just not fair.

I've not owned a pitbull myself but anyone can see that these are harmless animals, it's just like the nature of a human it's how they are brought up

I have 2 pitbulls, one 6 years old and one a little more than a year old. They are such sweet loving dogs, my older one will do anything to cuddle with you and kiss you and she is constantly around my 6 year old brother and is very gentle with him. Pitbulls are like any other dog and shouldn't be illegal anywhere.

I have three pittbulls, and have had many before the three I have now. Pittbulls are the best dogs I have owned. I hate seeing people bash on a type of dog because of how some people raised their dogs. Any dog breed can be aggressive, if you raise them right they won't be that way.
