I think that all pit bulls should be aloud in the Uk because they are just animals and it’s the owners fault for the aggression sometimes.

I just discovered i will never have the dog i want because of this ban. This is a living thing. Not an object that you ban from your country. And yea i m also agreeing on the fact that it seems only fair to ban the other dogs that are more aggressive by themselves than the dog who is aggressive because of a stupid human! The only thing i see about this ban is like you are telling us that you would ban people from country because most of the terrorist attacks or what ever bad thing happened were made mostly by people from this country. I m sorry... But no. You will have to ban the entire world for at least a reason. And I dont think you want that. It shouldn't even cross your mind. So why do that to dogs?

I love this breed. They are so misunderstood and font deserve this treatment. Over years they have found different breeds to pick on, but sooner or later they have to wake up and realise that it's not the dogs, it's the humans. Everything bad is always our fault.

They are such great dogs. Unfortunately for the breed they are persecuted by the media and anyone who has no understanding of the breed or any other dog for that matter. The owners need to take responsibility for their dogs behaviour. The law should change to reflect this.

Pitbulls need to be loved not judged. There is no such thing as a bad dog, only a bad owner. People need to stop pinning the blame on the dogs and wake up, they need to realise that humans are always the ones to blame.

Pitbulls are like any other dog breed, raise them properly and they will be a good adult dog. Raise them poorly, they will be aggressive. I live in the UK and own an unregistered pitbull and he is the best dog you can get. e is great and very gentle with kids all ages. He loves strangers and everyone in the area knows him and loves him. I'm 13 and I get kids as young as 3 running up to him to hug and pet him. My pit loves it! He is very well behaved, he doesn't snap at people, he doesn't steal food. He asks to get on my bed or eat food. I would 9/10 recommend this breed to some one, if they have the time, love, money and knowledge to care for these dogs.

Somebody would not decide not to dog fight anymore just because they can not legally get hold of a perticular breed, they would simply purchase it illegally which is easy to do or get a different breed. The dangerous dogs act is unnecessary murder which was clearly decided by people who don't understand canines.

it isn't the breed of dog but the owners so i believe to own a pitbull you should have to have a clean record and i would allow if they had to be muzzled but if u banned pit bulls then what about rottweilers, and German shepherds and staffs etc etc. you might aswell ban labs because you can have an amzing pit andan agressive lab or a golden retreiver.
