How Is it that Children Legally in USA are Often Forced to Leave & Denied Opportunities?

Children of legal immigrants should be allowed to stay in their adopted country once adults & contribute to their society esp if they are law abiding citizens . Makes no sense to return them to a country where they've had no life since a baby!!

I am one of these kids!

Seems a ludicrous and very unfair way of treating the children of legal immigrants.

The system drastically needs to be changed

If we decide to stay some years again, our kids should be go back to France alone. We have business here, we pay taxes but kids have to go back at 21 years old. We won't be able to abandon our kids. and should go back also

Clearly the rules need changing !!!

Let the legal kids of legal immigrants stay! Why do you break up families that have contributed and done things legally?

Children here legally should be allowed to stay and begin the process to become citizens if they wish.

These legal kids should have more rights then illegals!

Having just had our son leave as he aged out at 21 was heartbreaking. Our daughter ages out next April! How can this be right? Coming here legally. Buying businesses, employing Americans. Please stop separating families. #Cantdream. Let our kids dream too

These people are part the USA and their parents are helping the economy by working and the children must be the future of the country.

DREAM Active is important, but this is just as fair. Children of legal parents should be able to stay in the US.

My parents moved the United States when I left the sixth form, I made the choice to stay in the UK as opposed to education in the US where my parents were residing with my younger brother and sister. There was no realistic opportunity for me to join my parents on a permanent basis. I was 18 when this happened. I now have a first class honours degree in robotics. The United States is losing out. Both my Brother and Sister who have been attending a US high school will be forced to leave when 21. They will have no future in the country they grew up in. The archaic visa system in the United States needs an overhaul to prevent distress to hard working families and allow companies to hire out of country highly skilled workers. Change must happen.

We seem to have this backwards. We threaten to deport the ones who are here legally and give government support to the ones who aren't. Hmmm, what's wrong with this picture?

Help these children who are here legally stay and finish college at least. At least they aren't asking for handouts.

Legal immigrants above and beyond all illegal immigrants...what kind of country are we that showers gifts on people who break our laws but restrict the ones who don't.
