Mehrdad our E2 visa is the only visa with no path to permanent residency (Greencard) join the E2 reform group to learn more and to connect with other E2 via holders

I live in USA with my family about 4 years by under the E2 visa.I have 4 American worker.My wife & i work 6 day a week whole day(running restaurant in Joplin,MO).My Son is 23 years old.I worry about him because there is no law for him to stay with his family in US.Another issue i have : how long i got to wait for green card or can i get it one day in US.

Luke is now 19. Arrived as a one year old. Finished first year at FGCU and on the presidents list all year for academic achievement.He is like any american youth with so much promise, yet the law will force him back to a country he does not know as soon as he finishes his education.

Our daughter, who has been here legally since the age of 12 as an E2 Dependent, was forced to make the choice between either returning back to where she was born - not home, as that is here !!- last year by herself or changing her status to International Student and being allowed to stay off her own accord. Is that really a choice ? No, but as hard-working immigrants who came here legally - much like almost every current legal American citizen's forefathers did - we are used to always having to jump hoops, never feeling secure, worry about our kids etc.. When will we ever be recognized for the economic and social contributions that we all, have made, and continue to make to wherever we live in the USA ? Is that too much to ask for throwing most of our eggs in one basket ? I would say that our commitment to the betterment of our lives here, and our neighbors, deserves much more than the constant threat of not having our E2 Visa renewed or having our kids reach that ' dreaded ' age of 21 when we are helpless to help them !
As always, lots of questions but very few palatable answers. Our family relies on God to be our savior.

It makes no sense. I am in this predicament. You do things the honest and right way and you have less rights and privileges than those who do things illegally

Living the American Dream only to be told now you are 21 you have to leave your family and friends and go back to a country, alone and get on with it. Crazy!!!

Having had our 21 year old son already having to leave because he aged out on our E2 this March we now face our daughter leaving next April. Somebody needs to help these legal kids stay with their families, let them work. We all stick to the rules but are penalized.

The families who do things properly and legally are victimized, forgotten about and split up. It's not right and needs to change. How can it be okay to accept refugees so the families are not split up - yet kids who age out at 21 are!

It is time to focus on LEGAL immigration issues that affect our country I am sick and tired of hearing about illegal immigration all the time. I would vote for a politician and party that address bringing investment to the US and a plan for keeping skilled workers here.

If American politician have common sense, legal children should be included in the DACA program. I have lived here in the USA more than 10 years. I sometimes think that I and my family members had better remain illegally rather than legally because of the future of my kids.

I have 2 kids who have been in this country since age 2 and 5, one going into 9th grade, the other going off to college. They are american through and through, they have been brought up here, but because we followed the rules, we are punished. Time to fix the E2 visa problem for good.

My son is now 31, he came to the USA in 1995 aged 10, he owns three businesses and employs Americans but as an E2 Visa holder he cannot get a Green Card and has to renew his Visa every 2 years with no guarantee that it will be approved. There are so many other children that are legally here but cannot get Green Card status. Please support them by signing this Petition.
