How Is it that Children Legally in USA are Often Forced to Leave & Denied Opportunities?

How can they justify breaking up families

We invest large amount of personal money, create jobs, pay taxes, we are all proffesionals contributing to America and our children, raised in America deserve a path to become residents

This is a must! These kids grow up here, finish school & then are sent back to a foreign country (to them) to live on their own!

We have lived here for ten years, our children are 20 and 17, America is our home and all they know..why isn't the US government taking an interest in legal immigrants? This is crazy!

Parent of two e2 visa babies who will have been here since 12mths and 3 yrs old . We pay taxes , employ Americans but I worry so much for these children , my youngest would have libed here 20 years , speak , dream breathe American, how can I send her home when she is 21 ? And to what ? Her home is America , all because we abide by the rules ?!?

I have friends in fla. And they have done the paper work by the book. Even had to leave to go to England ambassador and redo paperwork. 14 yrs and still waiting. But illegals can come out of the wood work and get there card. How is this right. It is not. Things need to be redone in this country. And done right. Feeling pissed off at this nation.

We need change that equally treats those who come to the U.S legally.

We must take care of those here legally FIRST.

Shame on our government! Children who are here legally should be at the head of the line! Their parents did all the legal and right things to enter the United States but they have no rights. I have one simple question. Doesn't anyone know the meaning of illegal???

If they were born here you should be ok Lilian, It would make them US citizens in their own right. If however they were born in Canada or Mexico you may have a problem

I arrived in the US at 22 and study my second career in Ny back the. I had the student visa the. Got married and since then a TD. I feel muted by not being allowed to work...

I am a 26 year old who was brought here at the age of 13 by my parents. Since turning 21, I am in a constant struggle to stay legal and fight for my rights to open a bank account, get my drivers license and get into graduate school. Nothing is easy and the stress is horrible. I went to high school here, graduated from FSU, my whole life is here yet I have no way to gain citizenship in my home.

Children of legal E2 visa holders should have more rights than illegal immigrants. We pay our taxes and contribute to the economy yet our children suffer from a flawed immigration system.
