How Is it that Children Legally in USA are Often Forced to Leave & Denied Opportunities?

I am a E2,visa holder with a child who one only one and now 19. So he knows no different. To be thrown out of a country at 21 is barbaric. Being legal and pay our taxes gives us no rights. But if you are illegal and pay NOTHING to the country you get a green card. Please someone tell me how that is right !!!!!!!

E2 visa holders make a large contribution to the USA, economically and socially. My brother pays his taxes, employs US citizens, coaches soccer and is active in his local church and community. His daughter is an award winning Girl Scout, soccer player, camp counsellor and A grade student who to is for all intents and purposes American and wants to be so legally. She would like to work at college but can't due to her status. Please review this law so that America can welcome these positive contributors by allowing them to progress to a citizenship or green card status from E2. Thank you.

If the children entered this country legally with their parents, America needs to help them stay in America. They were raised here, followed the rules and were educated here. We need to focus on returning the aliens here illegally and who mooch off of America. Come on Congress...wise up!

We are the same followed all the rules pay our taxes, we came over with our daughter when she was 2 she is now 14 and will face that when she is 21, we even have a child born in the US, the law needs to change and allow these children to stay with their families.

We need to show more support to our children that are here legally than the ones here illegally

I find it highly unfair and shameful that children whom come here LEGALLY with their parents are forced out at 21, yet ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS are not only allowed to stay, but catered to and helped to advance their education. Something is VERY wrong with our system and it needs to be fixed IMMEDIATELY. We are "grandfathering" illegal immigrants to a degree, so why shouldn't legal immigrants get at least as much, if not more assistance to stay in this country? They've established businesses, their kids have gone to school here most or all of their lives, and they're not draining our public services funds. They should be rewarded, not punished. And one can say there's no punishment being handed down, but the fact is, that's how it feels to these people who've done everything right. They've followed our laws and came here LEGALLY. Children of legal immigrants should be allowed to stay until they choose not to - just like illegal immigrants do. Why can an illegal immigrant join our military, work here, go to college here (on scholarship no less), but a legal one cannot? That is ludicrous! My gawd how backwards we've become is sickening!

Please overturn this rule - I have several family members and friends now living in the US who will be affected by this - many of the children have grown up in the US and don't know life anywhere else - who would knowing separate families so cruelly!

This petition needs to be brought up before our government. These kids deserve the right to be able to further their education by being aloud to apply for grants and scholarships. They are not asking for a free ride just to be treated equally'

We should b taking care of the legal residents before the illegal!!!!!!

This petition needs the attention of our government so changes can be made. These children deserve a chance to grow and become productive individuals within the US, yet we are making it so difficult.
