Leeds City Council Renovate Western Flatts Playground Leeds

Would be lovely fir the park to be upgrade or restored to how I remember it when I was a kid, spent all my school holidays playing there

Are young kids need a good and safe place to play

Love Western flats park but the play area really lets it down. The equipment is old and depressing - no fun for the kids. We regularly travel to other parts of Leeds to use the play equipment because both Western flats and wortley rec have inadequate provision.

The park has great potential and is in desperate need of an update

I would love too see this park upgraded as we go there most weekends would also g be good too get skate park for the kids on there

Current playground has been there about twenty years since I used to take my nephew and nieces. It’s very dated and definitely needs an upgrade. It would also be great to see the original wooden benches restored please.

This playground hasnt changed since I played there as a child, 30 years ago and it was run down back then. Its definately time for a revamp.

This playground needs to be as safe as it used to be and it just isn’t anymore.

We live close but never use the play park as it’s needs a revamp and cleaning.

The play area has been a disgrace since my children were small 20 years ago. It should be at the top where trees have been planted or where the bowling green is Children and parents would feel a lot safer, than being in the area it is . The park is neglected which is such a shame

Needs doing just hope people look after it and use the park for what it is for

The park is old grubby and is in needed of a deep clean and update. A friend in Pudsey said a few have been done there about time western flat was done

This park needs a upgrade there not much for kids and babies , it has more than enough room to do so, lots off other parks get upgraded it’s about time this one did to

Leeds council are building on the the TV Harrison stating the western flats and Wortley Rex give adequate provisions but we are having to sign a petition to get these other provisions up to a useable standard for the little ones

Western Flats is a lovely park just needs sime TLC for the local community.

This used to be a lovely playground when my children were small, now I would like to take my grandson but it's not safe to do so at the moment. Time for a revamp I think .
