The surrounding area could also be maintained to make it a pleasant place to walk.

We have been coming to the park for years now, it’s really grotty. I visit this park daily with my dog too, love this park, would be amazing with a playground revamp, the kids really need it!

This is my local park and I can remember the playground in it’s better days. Its a disgrace, run down and not fit for purpose.

Western Flatts is a lovely park and I have been familiar with it from my childhood through to present day, 70 years! I agree it is time for the children's playground to be updated and brought up to modern day safety standards for our grandchildren to enjoy, as I did!

I have lived in the area several years, take my sister most days and it would be great for her to play on a new park before she gets too old! Woohoo!

A report from 2018 states that the council want all 63 community parks to be green flag standard - hopefully we can get this sorted soon.

Definitely in need of renovations, and it’s a lovely park too, but the play part is not great and let’s the rest of it down

This playground is in desperate need of a revamp!! It’s such a lovely park and the playground let’s it down.
