Keep places safe & where children can go

This would be lovely to be renovated. It seems such a waste for it now to be covered in moss and a danger to people playing on the play ground. There are swings missing and haven’t been replaced and the soft ground has been burnt and big chunks missing. It’s a nice park and would be good for all the families of wortley to be able to take their children here instead of having to go elsewhere.

Our children need a safe place to play. There are plenty of children in the area, but far from other playgrounds. Please renew this place so that our children have a place to spend their time playing.

This park is loved by lots but it needs a face lift so the kids can enjoy it like some of us older ones did when we was little.

Much needed upgrade for the local families to enjoy the outdoors and encourage fitness

I remember when this park got renovated when I was a kid im now 34 and took my 18 month old to find out it was still the same and very run down, deffo needs a new park on here.

This will be great for the area and our children as they need somewhere safe to play

As the nearest park to me, been walking around Western Flatts during lockdown. It's got great potential. Would love to see it renovated.

My old time area i used to hang around here after school many moons ago! Now my daughter is the next To play and hang around there! 100% supported

Would definitely agree with replacing old rusty equipment. Also would be a bonus to reconsider location if possible. Bandstand area is damp, lots of trees and quite a dark, lonely location. A better lit location nearer to the road/ houses at the top would perhaps feel/ be safer.

Definitely needs a revamp

. grown up here, all the family still in wortley ,such a good park .accept the swings and slides .all the parks in surrounding areas seem to be alot better for the kids ..it is so dated. definitely needs a revamp....

We deserve a park in our area to be inviting, safe and more exciting for our little ones to enjoy!!

It really needs a new playground, half of the frame is not safe and is hanging on by a thread. Very unsafe , I dont take my children their anymore and its my local park. Leeds City Council need to put some money into it.

Its about time Leeds city council looked after and maintained the parks in West Leeds...the play area would probably be better moved as well to a sunnier area of thr park

we live very local to us and this park is si outdated and being repaired so many times over tge years the kids deserve a new park.

My little boy loves outdoors and I love this park as I played here many times as a little girls but it’s a shame the state it’s in
