My son is a senior this year and I feel cheated that the citizens with children current/future didn't get a vote in this matter. I'm am mad because we are the folks who contributed funds & tax dollars but don't get a voice! I'm ashamed of the way the city council disregards the parents and/or students feelings on this!

I dont believe we should change the name of the school. Changing the name means changing ALL uniforms! ALL of out chants. And I doubt anyone is going to call it "Jasper High School".

Walker High School has a very special place in my heart. I shared many memories there with my late husband, Keith Cantrell, and our daughter also graduated from Walker High School. This school holds so many memories with friends, family, and the rest of the community!!!
