This is our town! I grew up here, my parents, and my grandparents! We all went to Walker High! Walker High is ours and our future! Walker High is known throughout Alabama! If change is needed then maybe we need to start looking at the board!!!!!!!!! SAVE THE NAME!!!

The only reason I could see to change the name of a school is if you're trying to change the school's image. Walker has a PROUD heritage. Changing the name, in my opinion, would be a slap
In the face to the students, faculty, and alumni of the school.

Please don't change the name of Walker High School to Jasper High School. I didn't live in Jasper but I was from Boldo and went to high school at Walker High School. There are people that go to school there that do not or did not live in Jasper but a suberb of. My parents went to Walker County High School. I understand it is a city school but I don't understand why the name should change. It would be cheaper to just leave the name as is.

This upsets me very much I graduated from Walker and my son just graduated from Walker. I still have 2 more kids that I want to graduate as a Walker Viking.
