It's a disgrace that the American Flag keeps being taken down. The first time I saw the flag when I hiked up the mountain, I felt so good inside. When I hiked up one day and saw that it wasn't there anymore, my heart sank. Leave our flag there!!

Never thought I'd see the day, where we would have to fight and beg to keep our American flag on US land. Where it motivates people! Such a great feeling when I get to the top of the mountain, and see our beautiful flag! Might as well shut down the parks, and not let American people on it because we're a disturbance to city property. People go just to go see our flags in the first place! Hundreds of people take pictures with our flag so proudly. Why deny us of our pride and joy? And to have to feel like we have to beg to give it up? Something just isn't clicking.

When will we who love our flag have the right to have it where we would like? Why does it always have to be about those who are always complaining? Getting to those flags is an accomplishment knowing what others have given to protect them.

Why would someone complain about the flags? These flags are something I look forward to seeing when I'm hiking. Unbelievable that someone would complain. It is our Nations flag and a representative of what we stand for and what my Dad fought to protect. These flags should most definitely stay.
