How can any citizen or government office think of removing our national flag? This is disgraceful.

Our freedoms are under attack! Our flag is the best outward sign of all we believe, no one should remove it! Respect it and handle it with care! And ANYONE that doesn't like it should leave America!!!

The flag means a lot to me, my son is fighting for our freedom and yours and the flag is just the reminnder we all need that freedom doesn't come free.

Exceptions should be made for a great deal of things in life on a case by case basis, this is one of those cases. The flag, the symbol of everything that embodies the American spirit, independence, and the freedom we have to hike OUR mountains and enjoy our surroundings that we have been so blessed with. As a veteran and an American, the flag should be the one thing that crosses the boundaries of disagreement & politics. The American flag is not a desecration of a preserve, it is the force that allows for its' existence as a preserve.

The American Flag needs to be displayed proudly for all Americans. If foreigners don't like our flag and our country, they should go back where they came from. When my grandparents emigrated, they assimilated and were proud Americans.

My Dad is 96 and as a WWII vet was willing to give his life for that flag. Do it for him and others like him
