The Tivoli Tavern is unique, in a town with a dying pub trade the Tivoli carries on due to its regulars who go there for its traditional, cosy and friendly feel, tearing the place apart and turning it into a sports bar would definitely signifie the end for the pub, the regulars would stop going and they will be replaced by the young and rowdy who will in turn make the place shabby just like other pubs in the area.
The Tivoli needs to stay traditional.

Great little pub...there's enough modern pubs with sports bars..restaurants..kids play areas etc..leave it traditional like we like it

The Tivoli Tavern is one of the last remaining olde world taverns in the area and the town centre does not need yet another sports or gimmick bar! Leave it alone and do not spoil the pubs unique character!

Leave the tiv alone....go and do somet with chambers or another pub that needs a new outlook...the tiv is a good traditional pub...no food...no gimmicks not many pu s like this now...so leave the tiv alone

Leave it as it is no kids no football just a friendly atmosphere where people can have a quiet drink and feel welcome without no trouble it's the only traditional pub left
